The Servants Tongue (Isaiah 50:4-7) |
The servant of God says; The Lord God has given me the tongue of a disciple and of one who is taught, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary. He awakens me morning by morning. He wakens my ear to hear as a disciple. ( as one who is taught). The lord God has opened my ear, and I have not been rebellious or turned backward. I gave my back to the smiters and my cheeks to those who plucked off the hair; I hid not my face from shame and spitting. For the Lord God helps me; therefore have I not been ashamed or confounded. Therefore have I set my face like a flint and I know that I shall not be put to shame. Isaiah 52:13 Behold, I am the servant of the Lord and I shall deal wisely and shall prosper. (In due season) I shall be exalted and shall stand very high. God shall prolong my days and the will and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in my hand |
